Dude Martin


Dude Martin & His Nevada Nightherders 1935-1936.
Early radio transcriptions recorded at MacGregor & Sollie
in San Francisco. B.A.C.M. CD D 194. These recordings were in the style of Sons of the Pioneers.

Dude Martin & His Roundup Gang. His post war band was a
smooth western swing dance band. Cattle Compact mono ccd 288.
Both are available at Downhome Records in El Cerrito.

Don Churchill & The Texas Wranglers


"One Year Ago Tonight" was recorded as Don Churchill and Mavericks on Bullet Records, 1949. This can be found on Proper Records box set, Doughboys, Playboys and Cowboys-The Golden Years of Western Swing.
