East Bay C & W venues in the 30's, 40's & 50's

Looking for info about the country scene along San Pablo Ave., from El Cerrito to Pinole. Maple Hall in San Pablo and Redmond Hall and the Red Barn in Richmond were the 3 big local dance halls. Also interested in the Wagon Wheel, Club Pablo, Star Club, Backstage, Six Belles, Kona Club, Club Thunderbird, John's Half Barrel, Crazy Joes, McFadden's, Alvarado Gardens, The Lighthouse and any others that had live C & W music before the mid 1960's. Interested in artists like Black Jack Wayne, Don Churchill , Ray Wade, Wilbert English etc. who played locally. Looking for info regarding which artists played where and when. Any pics that could be scanned would be greatly appreciated. All info I receive will also be sent to the appropriate Historical Society or Museum. yeee haaa, thanks, Walt
